WAREHOUSE ROOFING
Maintaining the integrity of your warehouse roof is essential for both goods and workers – trust in Sage BEC to deliver the best quality solutions
WAREHOUSE ROOFING CONTRACTORS
Sage BEC recognise that a warehouse for any storage or distribution purpose is vital to our clients production and performance, and that any work to the warehouse must minimise disruption.
Sage have developed systems specifically for this, and have access to all industry standard products. Recently we completely replaced the roof on a 40,000 sq ft building in 7 days allowing enormous potential if there is a shutdown period or one can be accommodated. We have also re-roofed a similar sized warehouse over a longer period but in such a way as the client had access under the works at all times, and did not suffer any disruption to their working process.
Sage BEC would advise removing the current warehouse covering if possible because it can deteriorate. Of course this is not always possible so we have developed a number of ways of over roofing, and even if the warehouse is asbestos clad and can’t be drilled, we can fit a new roof.
Metal roofs, generally, can be separated into three different categories:
- Exposed Fastener Panels where the screws are not hidden
- Concealed Fastener Panels where the screws are hidden
- Panels where the insulation is an integral part, a composite panel
These are available in steel and aluminium, and in a variety of coatings and colours, and can be designed to accommodate particular requirements – high humidity or acoustics for example.
They are also available with a range of guarantees right up to a 25 year insurance backed warranty.
